Competitors may apply one of two ways: online or via mail. The online entry form may be completed by clicking below. All online entries must pay their entry fee upon registering. The printable entry is a .pdf file and can be downloaded to your computer. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print this file. If you do not have the Adobe Reader on your machine, please visit the Adobe website to download the necessary files. Format:

36 holes medal play. Total score for two days. New this year, there will be a Women competition of 24 players. The event will have an open amateur competition of 90 players. There will be a separate Senior (age 50 and older as of September 22, 2019) competition of 30 players. There will be a Super Senior division (age 65 and older as September 22, 2019) division of 24 players. Seniors and Super Seniors may choose to play in either competition.

 

Ties in Either Competition:
There will be a three-hole aggregate playoff for the championship only. All other ties will divide merchandise awards based upon the final score.

 

Rules:

Play will be governed by Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA. Local Rules will be provided at the starter's table. Use of cell phones, pagers, beepers and the like will not be allowed during the stipulated rounds. Violation of this prohibition will result in a warning. Continued violations shall result in a disqualification in accordance with the eligibility statement on the entry form.

 

Rain Policy:
In the event that one or more rounds are not completed due to inclement weather, the Allegheny Amateur Tournament Committee reserves the right to reduce the number of rounds in the championship. If needed, a hole by hole playoff will determine the champion. Other prizes will be equally divided according to the order of finish in the last completed round.

 

Entry Fee:
$180 per person includes cart fee for both Saturday and Sunday, which is mandatory. No refunds will be made after September 18. Withdrawals prior to the deadline are subject to a $25 administration fee. Practice balls are free for competitors at any time during the weekend.

 

Entry Deadline:
Entries must be received at Blacksburg Country Club by 5:00 p.m., September 14, 2019. Requests to enter after that date must be approved by the Tournament Committee. Phone or Fax entries will be accepted only if approved in advance.
